An Exhibition Opportunity

The Missouri Watercolor Society has moved to Saint Louis and they are opening a gallery at 555 Washington Avenue that will hold monthly exhibits for MOWS members for a fee.  Our own Signature member Daven Anderson has assumed leadership of MOWS.  Their first show in their St. Louis gallery will open November 15 and will run through Jan. 1 or so and paintings are being accepted now.  Participants will be asked to volunteer in the gallery once a month and will be recruited for hanging, helping at the opening, and other necessary tasks.

Mirke Fetté thinks that this is an excellent exhibiting opportunity for Watermedia Artists and believes it will help to promote our medium in this region.  Daven is promoting this venue very energetically.

If you are interested in participating in this event, join MOWS by sending a check made out to MOWS, c/o Daven Anderson, 1410 S. 18th Street, St. Louis, MO  63104, and please state how may paintings you want to submit in their upcoming St. Louis exhibition.
