Plein Air Opportunity

From member Linda Green/Metzler:
For those who missed her Fall Paint Out, here is another chance to see and paint this beautiful wine-country spot on private property. Also a workshop opportunity on Saturday.  Julie and her husband Tom Greisedick are great hosts and the scenery is fabulous at this restored country school house that they make their home. It falls the weekend before Augusta, a great warm-up opportunity.
Check it out!

Art happenings by our members and for our membership.
The guest artist at the SLWS March membership meeting, Tuesday, March 16, will be Nancy Muschany.  Her program will be:
Painting in a series allows you to ask the question “I wonder what would happen if …?” You can more fully explore your subject by applying different treatments and approaches to the same subject.  Working in a series forces you to think and feel.  Often you will come up with ideas you might never have thought of when painting only what you see.  What do you have to lose?  Along this journey you might discover a whole “new you.”
The Wednesday Night Painters are in full swing at Lindbergh High School from 7-9 PM, Wednesdays through April 28, except Mar 24 (spring break.)  Very comfortable spacious room, only $5 per session.  Grab a friend and go paint!
