The 49th annual national, competitive exhibition of aqueous media painting.
Watercolor U.S.A. is the Springfield Art Museum's nationally known competition featuring some of the best-known artists and jurors. The event is open to artists from all 50 states and U.S. territories. Over one thousand entries are received annually and judged for a variety of prizes, and possible purchase by the Museum or its patrons. Organized in 1962, this event attracts thousands of visitors annually to the Museum and to Springfield to view the work of exhibitors.
