Miriam Krone

My cousin, Miriam Krone, passed away this morning. She left behind warmth and light and a legacy of love that lives on with her children, Adrian Martinez Madrone and Natalie Martinez, her husband, Gregory Krone, and her exquisite grandchildren. That her house was filled with friends and family every day since her diagnosis of brain cancer just a few weeks ago is a testament to the remarkable impact she had on nearly everyone who knew her. Her memory is a blessing. I'm so grateful she was in my life.
An announcement from Adrian Martinez Madrone

12/6/2013: This morning, my Mom, Miriam Krone, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family. It was her time, and she did not suffer. Those of us who were not at her bedside are making our way back now.

The funeral, burial, and memorial will be held at her home this coming Sunday at 2:00 pm. All are invited to join us. There is plenty of room, and the house is ready for you.

The address is 4187 Highway KK, New Haven, MO. Be aware that the address often does not show up correctly on map programs or on GPS systems.  Also, be aware that it is expected to be somewhere around 30 degrees outside, and may be snowing. Wear appropriate clothing for the weather because there will be no shelter around the graveside.

Thank you to everyone for your love, friendship, and presence. There is no question that your love and support helped my Mom make this transition into the next part of her journey.

The members of Saint Louis Watercolor send our condolences to the family.  She was a long time signature member of SLWS and will be missed.
