Acrylic Painting Class
September 11, 18, 25, and Oct. 2nd
1 - 4 p.m., Tuesdays

Fee $100.00
Four
subjects will be painted, for a variety of application and color
combinations. Discover this wonderful and versatile water media. Linda
will demonstrate techniques, and explain the importance of value,
color, composition, along with many tips to promote good artwork. Linda
has won numerous awards for her acrylic paintings, and has a vast store
of knowledge to share.
Drawing
Sept. 10, 17, 24, and Oct. st.
Monday evenings 6 - 9 p.m.

Fee $100.00
The
foundation of all artwork, drawing is the best way to start the
creative process. This class will use the sighting method, to locate
correct proportions, and to find angles, comparing one area to another.
Projects will be rendered in pencil, charcoal, conte and marker. A
valuable class for any artist wanting more information that will improve
their creative drawing or painting.A supply list will be furnished
after registration

***Beginning to Intermediate Watercolor, Sept. 6, - 27, 9 - 12 p.m., Fee $100.00
A good class to start out with watercolors ,
as well as to “step up” the intermediate student. A variety of
subjects will be painted, as well as great emphasis on color, use of
value, and well as all of the elements of design. Tips on supplies,
suppliers, along with many tips the instructor has learned to create
award winning paintings.
***Painting
Murals, Sept 21 and 22, 9 - 3:30, Fee $120.00. Paints and boards will
be furnished. A wonderful creative and informative class to learn how
to approach painting a mural, from concept to the final rendering.
Also, faux finishes will be covered, as well as starting your own mural
business
***Plein
Air Painting, Oct. 5 and 6, (rain date Oct. 12), 9 - 2 pm., Fee
$100.00. This class will teach where to start, what to look for, using
contrast of an area to create a painting with dynamic impact. Color,
value, good composition will be stressed, along with materials needed,
and preparing for a good outdoor painting experience.
