Dates of Exhibition: Friday, December 3, 2010 – Saturday, January 22, 2011. The gallery is closed between Christmas and January 4, 2011.
Juror: David Barth, Architectural Conceptualist.
Reception: Friday, December 3, 2010, 6 – 9 p.m. You are invited to bring a festive treat of food or drink for the reception table.
Regular Gallery Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. -- 6:00 p.m.; special Sunday hours, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. before Christmas only; closed Mondays.

Publicity & Entry Fee: $35.00 per artist, non-refundable and payable by October 31st. Includes a quantity of color postcards, use of gallery space, mailing to the gallery’s list, and other publicity.
Prizes: The following gift certificates for framing at Norton’s will be awarded:

Gallery Commission: 40% of gallery sale price.
Receiving: Please submit your works no later than Saturday, November 27, 2010, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Absolutely no late entries allowed. Please bring the Consignment Form http://www.nortonsfineart.com/consignmentform.pdf when dropping off artwork. Artists whose entries are not juried into the show will be notified to pick up their work on Saturday, December 4, 10:00 a.m. -- 6:00 p.m.
Accepted Artwork: Entries (1 – 3 items) created within the last three years. All accepted works must remain in exhibition until January 22, 2011. Norton's Fine Art & Framing reserves the right to accept or reject any work for exhibition.
2-D Art, Framed or Unframed: Paintings, drawings, prints, or pastels: maximum area, including outer dimensions of frame, 300 sq inches
Weavings, soft sculpture, wall hangings, bas reliefs: maximum area, including any hanging devices, 300 sq inches
For instance, 300 sq inches might be a piece:
- 30” x 10” OUTSIDE frame, or art dimension (if unframed) or
- 15” x 20” OUTSIDE frame, or art dimension (if unframed) or
- 5” x 60” OUTSIDE frame, or art dimension (if unframed)
[Too large: 16 x 20]
Re: diptyches and triptychs:
These will be considered to be 1 entry if the total square inches of all pieces combined is less than or equal to 300 square inches.
If each part of a triptych is 300 sq inches, then the 1 triptych is 3 entries.
If each part of a diptych is 300 sq inches, then the 1 diptych is 2 entries.
3-D Sculpture and Carvings: 1800 cubic inches maximum cubic area, not including bases, pedestals or supports.
Do not submit artwork that exceeds the above dimensions.
All artwork must be prepared for professional presentation, properly framed and wired for hanging (no sawtooth hangers), under glass or plexiglass, on pedestals, bases or supports, etc. Work done or completed under major instruction may not be submitted.

Insurance: Norton's Fine Art & Framing will provide insurance for all artwork presented for the "Something Small for the Holidays” Show while it is on the premises of Norton's Gallery.
Pick Up: Artwork not sold is to be picked up between Tuesday, January 25, 2011 and Saturday, January 29, 2011, 10 a.m. -- 6 p.m.
