Carol Jesssen Workshop Oct. 21 - 24

Carol Jessen is giving a workshop October 21 - 24, sponsored by Jean McMullen's gallery, Missouri Artists on Main, located at 321 S. Main Street, St. Charles, MO  63301.  The tuition is $350 for the four days.  A spot can be reserved for a $50 deposit.  Class size is limited to 9 due to space restrictions at the gallery studio.  For more information or to sign up, contact Jean McMullen via her email: jmcmullenart@aol.com.

Carol will cover a different subject in each session:  color, value, grays and shapes. Some painting venues may be outdoors.

SLWS 2015 Dues are Due Now

The SLWS 2015 dues invoice will go out this week via email for all of our members with email addresses, and by mail to the members without email addresses.  The dues are $35 this year.  An increase was necessary and explained in our August newsletter.  

Please mail your payment and include the invoice completed with any changes you may have for our Directory, your email address if you have one so we may communicate with you via email, and if you would like to "go green" by reading our newsletters on our website instead of receiving a printed one in the mail.  

All members who pay their dues by October 1 will receive advance registration forms for our 2015 Workshops -- Tom Lynch, April 14 - 18, Bev Jozwiak, July 13 - 17, and Jean Haines, two sessions on October 24 & 25 and October 27 & 28.  Registration for our workshops will go public this year on November 15 so don't miss your chance to reserve a place before that date.   

Our first membership meeting will be Wednesday, September 17th.  We will be accepting dues at our meeting if you would like to save postage.

Big Splash 2014 Opening Reception
